August 2007 - Sound Video Solutions has recently become the exclusive American (but not Florida) and Canadian dealer of the Onfinity product line. Onfinity manufactures the latest in interactive whiteboard technology, their flagship product is a Virtual Interactive Whiteboard that can be customized to any size you choose. April 2007 - Jim Cassin will be exhibiting our products at PSLA on April 12-14 in Hershey, PA. Jim and Elmer Manspeaker will be exhibiting at NPAECT in Erie, PA on April 19th and at the National Association of Media and Technology Centers in Pittsburgh, PA on April 19-22nd. Stop by and visit us! Our rental department is in the process of expanding our current rental inventory to include: 42” flat screen TVs, 4500 ANSI lumen multimedia projectors, HD video, assistive listening, web streaming, as well as lighting and staging equipment. These new acquisitions will enable us to better meet the needs of our clientele. March 2007 - Sound Video Solutions has recently hired several new employees to our company: Jim Cassin, as a new sales rep; Bill Mitchell, as production manager, and Chris Dermont as a rental technician. James Cassin who is based in State College, PA will be promoting our portable systems in Pennsylvania as well as at trade shows throughout the country. He is also responsible for selling many of our other product lines which include Hitachi, Polyvision, Peerless, Califone, and Extron and many more. James Cassin comes to SVS with extensive technology experience in public education and held the positions of teacher, media specialist and technology director in Pennsylvania public schools. Cassin holds a Bachelors degree in secondary education, a Masters degree in instructional technology and a second Master’s degree in library and information science. He has also served as an advisor to Discovery Education in Silver Spring, MD and Digital Curriculum Corporation in Chatsworth, CA. Bill Mitchell recently joined SVS as project manager. He will be managing, Sound Video Systems, our sister company, which manufactures our ever-popular SVS200 and SVS300 carts. Mitchell comes to us from Lornamead Brands, Inc where he served as Plant Manager. He and has over 10 years of manufacturing and assembly experience. Chris Dermont comes to SVS with more than 10 years experience in audio visual rental and staging setup. He is also knowledgeable in video projection and live Broadcast camera shoots. Dermont has helped plan, organize, setup, and direct/produce such events as Tri-it Distributing's 75th Anniversary Celebration, Erie County's "State of the County Address", the "Kingdom Bound" concert at Darien Lake.

January 2007 - Sound Video Solutions is as an authorized dealer of Sound Video Systems on PEPPM Contracts in Pennsylvania and California.

July 2006 - Sound Video Solutions introduces the SVS 200 at NECC in San Diego. The SVS 200, the newest product from SVS contains all of the best features of the ever popular SVS 300 plus some added versatility in a sleek looking steel powder-coated console. March 2006 - Sound Video Solutions takes on investors to fuel growth. The product line of portable Sound Video Systems, originally developed by Sound Video Solutions, has gone national and in order to accommodate the growth, new investors were brought in and a new entity was formed - Sound Video Solutions, LLC. Sound Video Solutions is now selling the popular SVS 300 systems to customers as far away as Hawaii, California and Florida.

February 2006 - Elmer Manspeaker receives salesman of the year award. Elmer could have retired years ago, but with a painfully useless knee and a deteriorating shoulder, he had a great year selling our SVS 300 portable sound video system. This new product reached almost $1 million in sales mostly due to Elmer's efforts. He has been in the AV business for many years and his customers have followed him as he changed companies. He exhibits the ultimate virtues of honesty and integrity along with excellent customer service skills. He prefers to deliver products to his customers personally, even if they are out in the boonies. Elmer may be the top AV salesman of all time - at least in New York and Pennsylvania.
